Cat Behavior Solutions

A Dog's Life GR is thrilled to present: A Cat's Life! This program is desperately needed in West Michigan and we are very fortunate to have Rachael VanDyke LVT, KPA-CTP offering this service.

We know how important your relationship with your feline family members is and we are here to help. Some common issues include inappropriate urination, scratching or other destructive behaviors, fighting amongst household cats, unhealthy cat and dog interactions, and cooperative care training for veterinary visits and/or at home medical care.

Cat consultations will consist of a thorough examination of the cat(s) and their home environment. We will discuss in depth their behavioral concerns. Owners will then be provided an enrichment and behavior modification plan, and their veterinary team will be emailed a report card.

Initial appointments begin at $165.00 per hour session (travel fee may be added).

Discounts available for multiple sessions.

"Oftentimes as veterinary professionals we find that medical and behavioral problems overlap. Most owners find it difficult to identify pain, stress and other abnormalities in their cats' physical health. I am happy to be able to bridge that gap and work directly with their veterinary team by reporting my in-home observations. As an LVT I am able to use my years of experience and education to help identify signs of pain when observing relaxed cats in their home environment. Being able to report back to their veterinarian and have medical issues diagnosed and treated is such an important aspect of feline behavioral problems."
