For puppies up to 5 months old, this course will focus on building a solid learning foundation by teaching core skills such as Leave-It, Stay, Recall, and Place. We will also practice important social skills by allowing the puppies to interact and play while supervised.

More than just play! Each $40 session offers you and your pup a chance to learn about proper socialization in a controlled setting. We’ll discuss dog body language, social cues, and what good play looks like while we teach the puppies to interact positively. For puppies up to 4 months old.

Pipsqueaks

For puppies and young dogs that will weigh less than 30lbs at maturity. This foundation course focuses on helping you teach your little learner the fundamentals of good manners using techniques especially helpful for training little dogs.
Walk This Way
Saturday 3/1 at 2:30pm with Amy
Strengthen leash skills for both handler and pup with innovative and proven methods. We’ll also build handler focus by learning games and activities that reinforce being near you.
Managing Distractions
Tuesday 3/18 at 8:00pm with Kristie
Help your dog learn to settle themselves and remain calm amidst distractions while you learn to recognize calming signals and reinforce your dog for not reacting to stimuli.
Recalls & Stays
Begin teaching a reliable recall and strong stay by playing games to build your dog’s drive and learning activities to increase their patience.
Core Intermediate Skills

In this course you’ll continue refining and practice applying the core skills taught in the foundation classes while playing games that simulate real-life situations.
Walk This Way 2
We will be growing and expanding the skills started in Walk This Way, while also playing games to increase distractions and distance.
Managing Distractions 2
We will be growing and expanding the skills started in Managing Distractions, while also playing games to increase distractions and distance.
Recall & Stays 2
We will be growing and expanding the skills started in Recalls & Stays, while also playing games to increase distractions and distance.
Greetings & Salutations
Help your dog will learn how to greet politely, and/or pass by without greeting when necessary by building target skills and reinforcing calm behavior.
Game Night!
The best way to build a working relationship with your dog is if you both at having fun! Game night is a helps sharpen skills while enjoying the task. For dogs and handlers with basic skill knowledge. This is a one night event for $60.
Beginner Rally

As an introduction to the wonderful world of rally, we will focus on teamwork, communication and fun, rather than precision. The exercises involved will help build your skills as a handler and increase your dog's repertoire of behaviors.
Beginner Scentwork
Thursday 3/13 at 6:00pm with Leah
Celebrate the joy of sniffing in the amazing sport of Scentwork. We’ll start with basics like odor imprinting on birch, and beginning to search containers. A great intro for those hoping to compete!
Intermediate Scentwork

Continue building and honing your dogs searching skills. For those that have taken a previous scent class.
Doggie Parkour!

Parkour, also known as urban agility, invites dogs and their people to find joy in interacting with a variety of natural and man-made obstacles. We’ll have fun teaching our dogs to explore the world by climbing, balancing, crawling, and jumping!
Intermediate Rally

Beginner Scent-ology
Monday 4/14 at 5:30pm with Rachael
This class will take place at the Northeast location - 4609 Plainfield Avenue Northeast Grand Rapids, MI, 49525. Harness the power of your dog’s nose and teach them to use it to find hidden rewards. Great for shy dogs to build confidence, and for busy dogs to focus their energy!
Rally Practice
For students who would like to continue building their skills. Each week will start with a warm up for the days course, then take turns running the new novice course.
Boredom Busters
In this course you'll play games with your dog that help reinforce good behavior, learn some new tricks, and just have fun!
