Enrichment Classes

Classes take place at A Dog’s Life’s Learning & Activity Center - 455 Lake Michigan Dr NW Suite 15, Grand Rapids, MI 49534.

Each class meets for 4 weeks and costs $129 unless otherwise specified. Registration is only guaranteed upon payment. Your registration attests that your dog will be up to date on all medical requirements by the start of class. You can view all of our class policies here.

We require the following vaccines: Distemper/Parvo (2nd round for puppies), Bordetella, Rabies (for dogs over 4 months), 1st round of Canine Influenza and a Negative Fecal Exam. Fecal exams can take a few days to process, so please plan accordingly.

Game Night!

Thursday 4/10 at 7:30pm with Kristie

The best way to build a working relationship with your dog is if you both at having fun! Game night is a helps sharpen skills while enjoying the task. For dogs and handlers with basic skill knowledge. This is a one night event for $39.

Boredom Busters Workshop

Saturday 4/12 at 12:00pm with Amy

In this 60 minute workshop you'll learn games to play with your busy dog that can help wear them out both mentally and physically, while also reinforcing good behavior. Cost is $39.

Beginner Scent-ology

Monday 4/14 at 5:30pm with Rachael

This class will take place at the Northeast location - 4609 Plainfield Avenue Northeast Grand Rapids, MI, 49525. Harness the power of your dog’s nose and teach them to use it to find hidden rewards. Great for shy dogs to build confidence, and for busy dogs to focus their energy!

Jumps & Tunnels

Saturday 4/26 at 11:45am with Amy

In this 30 minute class you and your dog will be introduced to some of the fun equipment used in agility! Cost is $79 for 4 weeks.

Fit & Fun

Saturday 4/26 at 12:30pm with Amy

This 30 minute class will go over conditioning techniques and exercises to keep your dog fit and healthy, and have a great time doing it! Cost is $79 for 4 weeks.

Rally Practice

Saturday 4/26 at 1:30pm with Amy

For students who would like to continue building their skills. Each week will start with a warm up, then we will take turns running through a new novice course.

Beginner Rally

As an introduction to the wonderful world of rally, we will focus on teamwork, communication and fun, rather than precision. The exercises involved will help build your skills as a handler and increase your dog's repertoire of behaviors.

Doggie Parkour!

Parkour, also known as urban agility, invites dogs and their people to find joy in interacting with a variety of natural and man-made obstacles. We’ll have fun teaching our dogs to explore the world by climbing, balancing, crawling, and jumping!
